About
Anita is a student. She lives in Ireland. She takes photos of people and places and things.

So a few days ago the Irish Daily Star online published an article and used my photo of my friend Nollaig O’Connor in it! Nollaig is participating in the TV show “The Voice of Ireland” and she is already wowing people with her amazing voice so early in the competition.
This is the photo they used:

Some iPhone 4 photos from a recent trip to Amsterdam, Holland. I also brought my Diana mini film camera but waiting for the film to get developed.

My friend Natalie of http://craftystudents.blogspot.com/ ran a stall at the Dublin Flea Market the other weekend. The Flea which is held once a month in Newmarket Square is a great place to hunt out something special. Nat’s stall is always filled with vintage and homemade pieces at great prices. Her hand-crafted bunting is also now available in Shotsy Vintage in Temple Bar, so be sure to pop down and get some of her Christmas themed ones! Above are a few photos from the day.

My lovely friend Elaine: https://twitter.com/#!/ElLavery asked me to come along and take a few photos for the UCD Choral Scholars Encore Ball. A mix of past and present scholars enjoyed some music and food at the delightful Fallon & Byrne: http://www.fallonandbyrne.com/. Here’s just a few snaps of the night. It was definitely a challenge shooting in the low light setting of the function room so my tripod got put to good use! ISO 1600 should be avoided as much as possible though.
A couple more of Cali.
From the California trip, July 2011. More snaps.
From my trip to Switzerland to visit my sister back in June. Forgot to put these few snaps up here.
